Taking the reins at his family’s Chaintré estate, biodynamic trailblazer Romain Cornin coaxes breathtaking nuance from a prized collection of heritage Mâconnais vines dating back to 1909. Rejecting heavy intervention to let his historic soils speak, he coopers and ferments with laser-focused precision to deliver intensely textured, vivacious Chardonnays that possess a beautifully unforced, crystalline brilliance.
