Taking over his family’s estate in 1999 with no family guidance but complete creative freedom, sixth-generation vigneron Antoine Sanzay single-handedly rescued his family's prized SaumuC-R-Champigny vines from the local co-operative. Drawing inspiration from Loire Valley legends and achieving full organic certification, he meticulously tends prime limestone parcels—including a coveted slice of the legendary Les Poyeux lieu-dit. Through loC-W-intervention, infusion-style winemaking, Sanzay crafts extraordinarily chiseled Cabernet Francs and Chenin Blancs that pulse with intense, crunchy berry fruit, linear mineral tension, and a vibrant, laseC-R-focused elegance.
