About the bottle...

Truffle pasta or Bistecca alla Fiorentina on the weekend menu? This striking 2021 Italian Nebbiolo brings the storied grandeur of Piedmont straight to your glass via a bold, structured 100ml single serve, delivering a confident, deeply expressive snap of red cherry, tar, and dried roses.

Crimson Snap - Wild red cherry, dried rose and subtle savoury notes define this beautifully expressive Barolo. Fragrant and complex, it balances Nebbiolo’s signature structure with remarkable purity, delivering layers of flavour that unfold gracefully with every sip.

Italian Nobility

From the rolling hills of Piedmont, this Barolo combines classic structure with impressive generosity. Ripe cherry fruit sits at the heart of the wine, supported by mouth-coating tannins that bring shape and depth without overwhelming the palate. Powerful yet beautifully balanced, it captures the elegance and confidence that have made Barolo one of Italy's most celebrated wines.

This storied red is the ultimate dinner centrepiece, designed to elevate any grand occasion into something unforgettable. Serve it alongside a board of aged Pecorino to watch its bold, structural complexity truly sing in great company.

About the producer

Founded in 2014 by childhood friends with zero family wine ties, this micro-boutique project has quickly become one of the most exciting, intrepid rising stars of the Langhe. Taking their name from the Piedmontese word for enthusiastic initiative, Giovanni Pippia and Mattia Benedetti practice organic, minimal-intervention viticulture across a minuscule three hectares of vines. utilising a centuries-old cellar in Monforte d’Alba, they craft high-energy Dolcetto, a thrilling white co-ferment, and crystalline Nebbiolos that seamlessly marry traditional, ancestral structures with a brilliantly fresh, vibrant, and natural stamina.

Italy

Italy’s winemaking roots run through the ancient Etruscans and Romans, who spread viticulture across the peninsula. Today, it blends deep tradition with forward-thinking producers who champion native grapes and terroir-driven styles. The country is a patchwork of regions, grapes and traditions, producing everything from alpine whites in the north to sun-soaked reds in the south. Its appellation system is built around DOC and DOCG, which help signpost quality and origin across a landscape that can shift dramatically from one area to the next. Key grapes such as Sangiovese, Nebbiolo, and Barbera sit alongside countless local varieties that shape each region's identity. Whether it is the structure of Chianti Classico and Piedmont, or the bright coastal styles of Sicily, Italian wine is ultimately about diversity and a strong sense of place.

Piedmont

Piedmont sits in the northwest of Italy and is known for producing some of the country’s most distinctive and characterful wines. Nebbiolo is the headline act here, forming the backbone of Barolo and Barbaresco wines with firm structure and bright acidity. Barbera and Dolcetto add more easy-going everyday (and great value) options, while the region also produces crisp whites from Arneis and Nascetta, as well as the lightly sparkling, sweet Moscato d’Asti. Winemaking in Piedmont leans on tradition with a focus on expressing each vineyard site clearly. The result is a region defined by clarity, structure, and a strong sense of place in every style.
