About the producer

Arriving in the Yarra Valley in 1997 in pursuit of high-altitude breezes, ancient soils, and shivering night temperatures, founder Phil Sexton laid the groundwork for an Australian cool-climate revolution. Guided by a mission to capture the absolute purity of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, Chief Winemaker Steve Flamsteed has spent decades mapping the region's individual single vineyards. Through a philosophy of transparent, low-intervention craftsmanship, the estate delivers globally acclaimed, highly expressive masterpieces that ripple with crystalline mineral focus, effortless texture, and a sleek, modern vitality.

Australia

Australia’s wine story began with colonial plantings in the late eighteenth century and took off through the work of early European settlers. The wine landscape is vast and varied, shaped by a mix of maritime, continental and desert-like influences across its key regions. Its appellation system is built around zones, which focus on geographic origin rather than strict rules on grape or style. Classic varieties such as Shiraz (Syrah), Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay lead the way, with Riesling and Grenache also playing important roles, plus a recent influx of ‘Mediterranean’ grapes are also turning heads. From the bold reds of Barossa to the cool climate elegance of Margaret River and Tasmania, Australia offers a huge spectrum of flavours. The country’s modern approach champions innovation, sustainability and a clear expression of place.

Yarra Valley

As one of Australia's premier cool-climate regions, the Yarra Valley features rolling hills and mist-shrouded mornings. The maritime-influenced climate coaxes a remarkably taut, slender shape and a pure, delicate fruit profile from the vines, delivering an effortless elegance and contemporary, linear precision.

Perfumed Snap - Raspberry, pomegranate and sweet spice leap from the glass with remarkable energy. Elegant and finely detailed, this Pinot Noir captures the purity and fragrance that make great cool-climate examples so captivating.

Yarra Valley Precision - From one of Australia’s leading cool-climate regions, this single-vineyard Pinot Noir combines fragrance, freshness and finesse. Its finely tuned structure allows every layer of complexity to shine.

Al Fresco

Ready to bring a touch of effortless luxury to your next weekend dinner gathering? This perfumed red acts as a versatile companion for a table laden with rich shared plates, roasted quail, or light beetroot dishes. It creates a wonderfully ambient, breezy atmosphere, proving itself as a bottle best experienced with good company.
