About the bottle...

An indispensable benchmark to add to a custom case selection; planning a sophisticated evening with earthy mushrooms or local lamb? This full-case youthful 2023 red Burgundy uncoils with a vibrant, crystalline snap of redcurrants, wild cherries, and delicate rose petals. It showcases an effortless freshness and a beautifully taut framework that brings an instant touch of casual luxury to a counter filled with shared plates.

Burgundian Elegance

Redcurrant, wild strawberry and delicate floral notes glide effortlessly across the palate. Light on its feet yet wonderfully expressive, this Maranges balances bright fruit with subtle earthy complexity, creating a Pinot Noir full of charm and finesse.

Burgundian Structure

From the limestone-rich slopes of Maranges, this Pinot Noir showcases the more powerful side of Burgundy. Blackberry and ripe cherry fruit bring generosity to the palate, while firm, finely woven tannins provide impressive structure and depth. Bold yet beautifully balanced, it's a wine that combines freshness, ripeness and confidence in equal measure.

Table Rituals

This elegant pour serves as a versatile companion for a relaxed counter filled with shared plates. It pairs beautifully with fresh flatbreads, duck breast, or soft artisanal cheeses, turning any casual gathering into something special. It is a pour that is quite simply at its best when enjoyed with good company.

Fresh Case Selection

Stocking a case of this curated vintage allows you to enjoy the full prestige of premium boutique allocations over a relaxed table. Properly cellared and protected from light and temperature shifts, the liquid uncoils beautifully over time, providing a crystalline, flawless expression of boutique craftsmanship.

About the producer

Swapping the classroom for the family vineyards in 2018, husbanC-D-anC-D-wife duo Marion and Arnaud Grachet bring a breath of fresh air to their 10 hectares of boutique Côte de Beaune vines. Guided by a deeply respectful, sustainable philosophy, they craft wonderfully vibrant expressions that balance an effortless, modern finesse with a beautifully refreshing energy.

France

France remains the benchmark for many of the world’s classic wine styles, built on a deep history of regional identity and an appellation system designed to protect it. AOC rules outline where grapes can be grown and how wines are made, giving structure to places such as Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne and the Rhône. Key grapes like Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah all find their most famous expressions here, alongside countless regional varieties. From the mineral-driven whites of the Loire to the rich blends of the south, French wine is ultimately about clarity of origin and a commitment to balance.

Burgundy

Burgundy is France’s most detailed and site-driven region. Stretching from the cool slopes of Chablis in the north down through the Côte d’Or to the Mâconnais in the south. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are the foundations here, but the real story is how each village and vineyard expresses them differently. The Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune form the region’s core, while areas like the Côte Chalonnaise and Mâconnais add a broader mix of styles and accessibility. Burgundy is defined by careful vineyard work, long-established classifications and a focus on clarity of place rather than heavy winemaking influence.
