A layered Soave Superiore with orange peel, lemon curd, ripe pear, toasted almond and a soft flicker of spice. Made from Garganega, it feels golden and textured, but still crystalline through the finish. The fruit is ripe, the mood is savoury, and the energy stays beautifully lifted.

Sandro de Bruno is a small but ambitious estate based on the slopes of Monte Calvarina in the volcanic heart of Soave. Sandro Tasoniero runs the estate here, championing Garganega grown on ancient basalt soils that naturally bring tension and minerality to his wines.

The philosophy is simple: careful farming, patient élevage and a respect for the slower rhythms of this cooler corner of the region. Alongside Soave, the estate also dabbles in sparkling wine and elegant reds, all made with the same calm, detail-driven approach.

This is one of those under-the-radar producers quietly raising the bar in Soave.
