Three decades in cask and selected from some of Taylor’s oldest stocks. Concentrated dried fruit, hazelnut and caramel notes are delivered with a feather-light texture. Long, serene and exquisitely aged.

2019 was a strong year in the Douro. Classic house character, a very versatile wine. Expect blackberry and plum notes carried by firm but approachable tannins. Acidity keeps the sweetness in balance, giving clarity and flow. A polished, ready-to-enjoy LBV.

‘Sentinel’ refers to an old tree standing guard over one of Taylor’s vineyards in the stunning Douro Valley. Dark berries, spice and cocoa sit within a rich but structured palate. Youthful and confident, this is a modern LBV style, sustainably farmed.

Taylor’s 2007 shows dense black fruit, cocoa and subtle spice wrapped in a firm, youthful structure. Tannins are still driving, with acidity adding lift to the rich, warming core. One of the most celebrated classic-year declarations from Taylor’s, it balances power, purity and impressive ageing potential.

How does it arrive?

In secure packaging or in a gift box if selected at checkout. Each sample is 'fractionalised' from the original bottle of wine using Coravin's brand new Vinitas® technology.

How much is the delivery?

Free tracked delivery for orders over £40. If required, upgrade to next day delivery at checkout.

How long will my samples last?

Your samples have been created using Coravin's leading Vinitas® technology. This means they have not come into contact with oxygen and will last for up to three months (if you can wait that long to try them!).
