Monte Antico Toscana IGT 2020

Sangiovese | Cabernet Sauvignon | Merlot
13%

A baby 'Super Tuscan'. This is Sangiovese-led with Cabernet and Merlot making up for around 15% of the blend. As such, this appraochable little number leads with bright red fruit and a slither of that fabulous, rustic, Sangiovese charm. Earthy, with hints of liquorice and leather underpinned by slightly darker berry fruit from those Bordelaise grape varieties.

Orma «Rosso di Orma» Toscana IGT 2022

Merlot | Cabernet Sauvignon | Sangiovese
13.5%

Orma's 'first' wine. This is awesome, it screams freshness off the bat and will work well with or without food. This is a wine that champions ripe, primary fruit character above anything else. A great example of a Merlot-led approachable wine from Bolgheri.

Cantina del Rospo «Sciornaia» Toscana IGT 2022

Sangiovese
12.5%

'Sciornaia' roughly translates to 'silly' or 'goofy', which is a tongue-in-cheek wink to the fact that these guys hail from a village of around 150 inhabitants (more on that below). This is beautiful Sangiovese, with characterful notes of red cherry, tobacco and spice.

Coste del Vivo «Rosso No.1» Toscana IGT Multi-Vintage

Cabernet Franc | Merlot | Sangiovese
14%

This is a serious wine. British winemaker Toby Owen learned from the best, and it shows in his multi-vintage ('17/'20/'21) blend. This is alive and brimming with aromas of blood orange and tar, black tea and leather. Structured and elegant.

Tenuta Sette Cieli «Yantra» Toscana IGT 2022

Cabernet Sauvignon | Merlot
14.5%

The 'Yantra'might be made from 100% Bordeaux grape varieties, but it's unmistakenly Tuscan in style. Unoaked, this is layered with plenty of black fruit and balsamic character, with a slightly lifted, almost minty accent at the end.

Tenuta Sette Ponti «Crognolo» Toscana IGT 2021

Sangiovese | Merlot
14.5%

Being Sangiovese dominant, expect red fruit character across the spectrum here, with a dollop of Merlot rounding things off effortlessly. Firm tannins on the palate give way to a silky texture on the finish.
