Small pours. Big discoveries.

The Cellar Selection

Some evenings deserve a look through the cellar. Château Musar’s 2003 joins Clonakilla, Yalumba and Wirra Wirra, alongside Beronia’s single-vineyard Rioja and Leeu Passant’s debut Dry Red, poured from magnum. Spanning 2003 to 2019, these six reds bring different regions, blends and stages of development to the table.

More about this wine

Vareia is Beronia’s single-vineyard Rioja, produced from Tempranillo planted in 1950 on poor, stony clay-limestone soils. The fruit is picked by hand and the wine spends 11 months in large new French oak foudres, building structure without allowing the oak to dominate.

The Cellar Selection

Chosen by Harry

See what a few years can bring.

Musar, Clonakilla, Yalumba, Wirra Wirra, Beronia and Leeu Passant bring six distinct reds to the table. The vintages run from 2003 to 2019, so age is part of the conversation alongside grape and place. Look for how fruit and savoury notes sit together, without expecting every wine to develop alike.
